So far it's great! I love how evenly it cooks. It's quick to heat up & it tells you it's still hot after cooking to prevent burning yourself. The only negative is cleaning the top. When I wipe it off after cleaning it's kind of smear. I usually just dry it with some pressure & it looks nice.

I bought this range because my old Hotpoint purchased in the 80's finally gave out in a big way. I went with the coil burners because I do home canning and knew a glass top would not hold up. I did use it for some canning and it did perform satisfactorily. Things that could be improved: markings for the knobs and overall quality. The markings for the knobs are tiny and hard to read. Also, I have a feeling that in time, the markings for the knobs will wear off, if the range lasts as long as it should. My old one had markings on the knobs that were easy to read and NEVER wore off. I would probably swap them out if I could, but the settings are opposite (Whirlpool High is on the right, Hotpoint on the left). Storage drawer is shallow and flimsy. There is room to make it deeper, Why isn't it? The small front burner with a melt setting doesn't heat up on the lowest setting. I have to turn it to 9 o'clock to get it to do anything. The digital display is okay, once I got used to it. I cover up the clock at night because it is so bright. When the timer goes off, it's easy to ignore. I prefer something more obnoxious that gets my attention so I don't space it off when distracted. I haven't tried the self-cleaning feature yet.

The purchase of a new Mobile home came with Whirlpool appliances. Range has worked perfectly so far, very happy with it. Couldn™€™t use at first due to mis-labeling in breaker box by the mobile home manufacturer. Which had nothing to do with Whirlpool. Appliance is easy to use and clean.

Awful permanent stains from cooking oils.

I purchased this appliance on January 30. I am very unhappy with the range. The black metal material absorbed coconut oil and the spots remained there appearing to penetrated the metal. I have used the type of cleaning product™€™s recommendations. That has not taken care of the stains. The material on top appears to be of poor quality as a place for cooking. I would never recommend this range to anyone. It never appears to be clean and shows all of the fibers in what every cloth I use. Using a sling does not happen in getting a clean looking stove.

Great oven window and light. Timer not great.

I upgraded to this appliance and I love the large oven window. The timer is not reliable for me as it stops making beeps fairly quickly. I do not like the smart coil burners as one "dings" with any vibration on the stove. I keep a pan on it to keep it quiet. I love that the oven light comes on automatically when you open the door.

This is the first appliance I have purchased from Salemi's Appliance that I am dissatisfied with ! The coil stove is cheaply made for what I paid. It rattles when I walk by. The front small burner is on the right instead of the left ( a safety hazard) . It was assembled at the factory with insulation protruding from the oven door left hand hinge. Poor choice of colors ; last stove was almond or light yellow,charge me $50 extra for a color change. My last Maytag coil stove was made in 1997. When we needed a new range for one of rental units, we did a lot of research. The Whirlpool range we bought was perfect for what we wanted and needed. First of all, it had to match our stainless steel refrigerator. Next, it had to fit in our existing cabinet cutout. Finally, and most importantly for a rental unit, it had to have a self-cleaning oven feature. Most of the ranges in this price range are not self-cleaning. All in all, we are happy with our purchase. The range looks great and based on Whirlpool's brand reliability, we should be good for several years to come.

This stove replaces a 5-1/2 year old LG glass-top stove. This stove top heats the pans quicker than the glass-top stove because the pans rest directly on the heating elements with a direct transfer of heat. This stove top is much easier to keep clean than the glass-top stove. This stove and oven have simple easy to understand controls. The fancy LG had lots of touch screen options that were at times confusing. The LG died after 5-1/2 years due to an oven heating element failure that morphed into a control panel failure. This stove is simple and functional.

In this day and age, it™€™s amazing how you can still buy a range with old-school electric coils. Sister-in-law recommended it for me for some reason; I™€™ve never been married. Reasonably-priced was nice. Two months ago, I couldn™€™t get a friend™€™s flush electric burners to turn on. Lousy design, I would say. Not Whirlpool, I believe! Whirlpool Range appears to be a quality product. Now my Whirlpool built-in microwave oven and fan are also working perfectly. Mom preferred Whirlpool because it was a good value. Not the most glamorous brand, just the one that worked the best.

It sucks. I've been living with a broken oven for over 3 weeks. When the tech came, he discovered that the wiring to the oven had burned into, so the oven wouldn't work. The tech put in an order for a new thermal block and wiring harness, because he didn't have what he needed. It's been over 2 weeks, and the wiring harness still hasn't shown up. When it does, I'll have to call and reschedule another visit for the tech to come back and install the thermal block and harness. The last time I scheduled an appointment them to come out for initial visit it took them 2.5 weeks to show up. (And they had no parts). There's definitely something wrong here.

Very happy with the range and its performance so far. I have the coil and burner pan stove, not the cooktop. The instruction manual has no information about cleaning the Burner pans. I assume the coils pull out from their sockets so that the pans can be removed and cleaned. but there's no info about doing that anywhere. Where do I find such information?

I hate the burners

The temp sensor burners are junk. After used several rides they warp and the burners will not heat up. I replaced them with traditional burners without the sensors. The ones with sensors will not even let water boil. Go back to the traditional burners! There is no way my home canner would work with the temperature sensor burners. The whole reason I purchased coul burners over glass smooth top is so I can do home canning.
